Week #2 Assignments (Optional) - Click This Title to See Details

Week #2 (Optional)

Please note that these assignments are optional. Some families and students are ready to begin some school work, and some are not there yet. I will review all work sent back to me and give some feedback.

If you would like to see me describe / explain this week's assignments, please watch this YouTube video:

The written instructions are below the video. :-)

Language Arts:

  • Go to the Google Classroom

  • There are two article assignments from Wonderopolis. I have made question sheets on Google Docs that have been sent to you. The link for the article is on the sheet.

  • Please answer the questions in full sentences. Press the “Turn In” button on the top right when you are ready to hand it in.

Math

  1. Watch my amazing YouTube video lesson on Parts of a Circle at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dw_ICiU7nCo

  2. Log on to IXL and complete the recommended lesson. If you haven’t logged in to IXL or don’t know how to find the “recommended lesson”, please watch this video I made at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrydTzFQHeg

  3. There is a timmer when you are working on IXL math. It keeps track of how long you have been on. I recommend only doing 15-20 mins a day, because it will get boring quick as the days go on if you keep going on longer. If you finish the recommended lesson on the first day, great, if not, don’t worry, just keep plugging away at it a little each day.

  4. If you finish the recommended lesson, work on IXL math you want to work on, again doing about 15 - 20 minutes a day.
